Learn how to design and build corporate/business training programs using a structured instructional design model. Explore instructor-led, e-learning, and rapid development scenarios.
By applying this model to a real project, participants will practice all steps in the process. In addition, participants will receive feedback throughout the course from the instructor and from other participants.

What are the learning objectives?
Apply instructional design model to a sample training program:
Complete needs analysis.
Write learning plan or design, including writing learning objectives and selecting delivery method.
Develop training content.
Present implementation plan.
Present evaluation plan.
Provide opportunity to test new ideas and receive constructive feedback within a supportive group.
What is the course structure?
Six 60-minute workshops (regular course) or three two- hour workshops (express version): Overview of adult learning theory, and approach of the instructional design model. Practical overview of each phase in the model, using "show and tell" scenarios. Lots of discussion and interaction.
One-on-one meetings for participant to meet with instructor: Review progress, and provide feedback privately.
Participants are encouraged but not required to complete assignments and readings between classes.
