Resources: Detailed Course Plan Template
This template outlines the instructional strategy for the content of the
training or performance support. Starting with the business goals or
drivers, this plan outlines what’s important to know in developing
the content. Objectives must be included, as they are mapped to the
content and to evaluation methods. The template includes links to
information on using Bloom’s taxonomy and Gagne’s events of
instruction; this is provided for people unfamiliar with what these are
(for example, subject matter experts).
